S'up peoples?

So as you can see, slowly but surely things are getting the once over and getting back into order. The website is at about 85% and hopefully will be 100% fully operational by next week!

We are working to update the music players, get some new podcasts up, new pics and of course get some of the new product into the webstore for all of youse guys to snap up!

Speaking of the webstore and merch orders... We sincerely appologize for the delay on shipping out orders. If you have placed an order over the past month or two and have yet to receive anything, please contact us immediately! We have the situation under control and many orders are being processed and shipped as I type this, but just to be safe we thought we'd put the word out. With a combo of the website going squirrely and the move to new diggs, some orders were delayed and shipping of some products to us were delayed. That being said, for every order that has been delayed, not only will we be throwing in some extra goodies, but we will also be shipping orders out via priority mail so as to ensure you not having to wait any longer than you already have to get yer swag. Any problems or questions regarding merch orders can be directed by sending an email here with the Subject: DELAYED MERCH ORDER. Again, sorry for any inconvenience as a result of all this shizz.

As mentioned, we are still in thr process of tweaking stuff on the site so if you are looking for news on upcoming shows, cruise on over to the Finger Records MySpace page for the low down on that and keep an eye on the Finger Records site for a fully functional page sometime this next week! Been a busy weekend folks and we are still battling with a gacky website, new surroundings and a bad case of the Mondays, but here we are none the less. That being said, on with the show...

Web update...The site is still buggy, the store is down and we are experiencing some difficulty with shipping orders as a result. If you have placed an order over the past few months, fear not as the problem is being remedied and your order will be filled with a few extra goodies for time and trouble! Ok, so much ado about everthing as I must say...

We finally are making headway with this friggin' P.O.S. website and doing the things that computer eggheads do, rip code apart and try to make things look purdy. With that said, there are STILL quite a few buggies in the mix, but at least you don't gotta stare at the same old page for another day. Enough with the rambling, on with the show...

Just to bring you up to speed and squash the rumors, we are here, we are alive and we are well. We are in the midst of revamping and restructuring Finger Records, making it bigger, better, faster and stronger than ever before (yes Mr. Austin, there IS a Lindsey Wagner.) We have a grip of new releases in the chamber and we are ready to pull the trigger, shooting you in the face with loud abrasive  shit to annoy your neighbors, piss of your parents and spit in the face of the people who generally turn their noses up at us. To mark this momentus occasion, a little show will be thrown this weekend to celebrate the first of many releases to come, so mark your calendars me boyos...

The new CD should be available for sale on line sometime next week, but if yah can't wait you can pick up a copy at the show!

As if that weren't enough to get you up off yer collective asses, The Uprising and Unit F are also gunna be ripping shit up, SO BE THERE!!!!

The Adolescents w/ The Street Dogs are at Jack Rabbit's in Jacksonville, FL as they continue their assault on the U.S.! Locally, Narcoleptic Youth and El Nada are taking over The Brigg  in Huntington Beach, CA for a good cause, to help raise funds for a friend who recently and unexpectedly passed away. Saturday, July 22nd, The Adolescents reign at The State Theater in St. Petersberg, FL, while Shattered Faith makes a rare appearance and does a last minute show to benefit The Brigg in Huntington Beach, CA! Also goin on will be The Uprising  at The Gypsy Lounge in Lake Forest, CA.... INSANE I TELLS YOU! Sunday, July 23rd, The Adolescents roll into Ft. Lauderdale, FL and hit Maguires Hill. Hooligan High goes off at Safari Sam's in Hollywood, CA, all ages, killer show, peep the flier...

That's right rapscallions, The Adolescents have embarked on the Monsanto Hayride Summer tour of 2006 with The Street Dogs! The van is packed and the road lies ahead, next stop...Denver, CO! The Adolescents kicked things off last night in classic style by playing a small, low profile show at The Doll Hut in Anaheim, CA and rocked the place like a hurricane! Be sure to catch the tour as it rolls through your town (see the show dates section for full details!)

Wrecking Crew has been working overtime and been keeping busy since summer kicked into gear. From the killer set they threw down at the Tower Records in store in Buena Park, CA a few weeks ago to amazing shows with Throwrag, The Adz and Bad Reaction, to name a few. The Crew is now gearing up for another set of KILLER shows, with The Dwarves at The Casbah in San Diego, CA this coming Friday, June 30^th and Just added, Flogging Molly at Soma on Sunday, July 2^nd! As if that weren’t enough, Wrecking Crew is also jumping on some of The Adolescents/Street Dogs tour dates plus an upcoming date with Throwrag at The Galaxy in Santa Ana, CA, you got yer calendar set! UNIT F ALBUM NEARS COMPLETION! SHOW THIS COMING FRIDAY NIGHT!

Unit F has been locked away in a dark, dingy studio wrapping up the last few touches on their new album AMERICAN SHUTDOWN, with the exception of emerging for the occasional Rockstar and/or kick ass set. If you were lucky enough to catch Unit F at the Cobalt in Canoga Park, CA this past weekend then you saw one amazing show and heard what’s in store for yah! The CD has been delayed for just a bit more, but it will drop this summer, no doubt! In the meantime though, the boys are popping up here and there and settin’ stages on fire, driving crowds into a frenzy, you know, the usual. If you happen to be in Las Vegas, NV on Friday, June 30^th you can catch them live at the Double Down Saloon, just off the strip and at the big Anti Hollister Run at Irvine Lake in Orange County, CA on Sunday, July 2^nd! QUICK SHOTS: THE UGLY, THE BAD & THE GOOD- UPRISING DRUMMER IN BAD WRECK, CAR TOTALED, DRUMMER OK

We want to send well wishes and positive vibes out to Danny from The Uprising who was in a really bad wreck last Saturday night on the way to play a show at the Cobalt Café in Canoga Park. Details are still sketchy , but the core of the story goes that Danny and his girl were traveling on the 405 North when they were struck by a drunk driver which totaled Danny’s ride and wrecked his gear which he was carrying. Danny and his girl were lucky enough to walk away from the twisted wreck, shaken up, but in one piece.

NEW RELEASES INFO-

Ok, bad news/good news …. Bad news is that the upcoming releases from Firecracker 500, One Word Solution and Unit F have been delayed just a bit longer. Issues with production have slowed things down a bit, but fret not, they will be coming out later this summer, keep checking back for official news and info on the release dates!

Good news is that the new release from The Uprising, WE DON’T BELONG, is now officially out and available for sale in the Finger Records webstore and select locations and at all Uprising shows. This awesome seven song EP features the cuts “Enemies” and the title track “We Don’t Belong” with guest appearances by Jim Lindberg of Pennywise and Greg Hetson of Bad Religion! You can also start downloading the EP from Emusic.com beginning Tuesday, July 4^th! So either way you pick it up, PICK IT UP!

NARCOLEPTIC YOUTH INVADE THE OC!

Narcoleptic Youth have emerged from their depths of their crypt and are coming to make life a bit easier to swallow as they descend upon The Alley in Fullerton, CA to do an all ages show on Wednesday, July 5th!  Also on the bill will be Tipper's Gore, Atomic Youth, Bad Antics, and Roundhouse Rampage. COME ON OUT TO SEE THE REAL FIREWORKS! BE THERE!

COEXIST STAY CLOSE TO HOME, ROCK O.C. ALL AGES!

Due to circumstances beyond everyone's control, Coexist's summer tour across the U.S. ended up being put on hold. No worries however, the boys are layin' it down and doing their duties locally until the next tour comes in their sites later this year. In the meantime, you can catch Coexist in an all ages gig at The Alley in Fullerton, CA on Tuesday, July 11th, so mark yout calendars and be there!

FREE SHOW WITH WRECKING CREW TOMORROW!

Ok, we talked about it, here it is.. Wrecking Crew are gunna be playing a free, all ages in store show in Orange County TOMORROW Saturday, June 17th!

The show is gunna be going off in the city of Buena Park, CA to mark the occasion of the grand opening of the new Tower Records store at the Downtown Buena Park Mall at 2:00pm on Saturday afternoon. The show is free and open to everyone, there's a ton of other bands playing too and lots of other stuff going on as well, so come on down, hang out and check out one hell of a kick ass free show....what else yah got to do on a Saturday afternoon chuckles? That's what I thought....SO BE THERE!
